To remove it, however, a tablespoon of vinegar is sufficient thanks to its degreasing and cleaning properties.

However, clean the radiator thoroughly before use. Switch it off so you don’t burn yourself. Pour warm water and Marseille soap into a bucket. Soak a clean cloth, wring it out well and start removing dust and dirt stains.

Dry it well, then take a sponge and soak it in a solution of half water and half vinegar. Now dab the damaged area and try to remove the rust. Then pass the brush and gently persist.

The vinegar will soften and dissolve the ferrous residue, after which you can run the sandpaper to remove it completely. Wipe off one last time with a cloth and dry thoroughly.

If you wish, you can pour the mixture into a vaporiser and spray directly onto the radiator. Leave it to rest and after 3 hours you will find it as good as new!
